Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m learning every day that when people attack me personally, it’s not actually about me at all. I want to keep being a great role model wherever I can, because I know there’s always someone in the world feeling the way I’ve felt many times on the job. I really appreciate your encouragement! 🙂

I totally understand the trepidation of being yelled at when new to a job, that is daunting all on it’s own accord and I would have dealt with it after it was over the same as you, crying my eyes out and hyperventilating. Then I would have reassessed the situation and figured out how I would handle the next time knowing there will always be a possible next time. I commend you on your bravery and courage and go get it attitude. You are meant for greatness in the publishing world and are definitely a fantastic role model.

Congratulations on your new job (one year in) and know youth is on your side.

p.s. Thank you for sharing this with us and reminding us authors that editors and the entire publishing staff are human too.
